Quarterly Meeting: Nov. 20, room 1304 at the Eckhoff Building Plan on joining us for a fun and informative evening. The year is coming near its end and it’s time for the Foster Care Auxiliary to elect some of our 2009 – 2011 officers. The offices of 1st Vice President and Secretary need to be voted on at our November quarterly meeting. In addition to the present officers who have agreed to be reelected if they so choose, if you have an interest of know of anyone who has an interest in running for any of our board or chair positions, please contact me. Also if you cannot attend the meeting, but wish to cast your vote, this can be done in writing and sent to the secretary, Marion Hickman.

Did you know ...

Did you know that FCAOC is a group of foster parents and community members who are interested in helping foster families in their efforts and we are NOT funded with county, state or federal funds? We are YOUR organization and our main support comes from our Thrift Store proceeds and community members and organizations who believe in our cause. Please help spread the word to other community members who want to do their part to help us. Be sure to tell them that we are a registered 501c3 charity so they know that their donation is tax deductable.

What to do in the initial stages of an allegation and why you should not be afraid will be the topic of our next Support Group at the Foster Care Auxiliary Center. For information or to register call 714 778-3383 or email FosterCareAux@yahoo.com The meetings will consist of training credit toward required foster parent hours, support, discussion and networking. Plus as an added bonus for members- distribution will begin immediately following the meeting. Please join this group of foster parents in your community.

1st Annual Foster Care Auxiliary Golf Tournament
*Good News* the deadline for our golf tournament registration has been extended…and there is a change of date.

The date for the tournament is now November 14, at noon where we will be joining another group in fundraising efforts. Please help the Foster Care Auxiliary to raise funds for our programs by asking your friends, relatives, and other associates if they can sign up to participate in our first ever golf tournament…they are sure to have a great day! And please remember that you can show your support even if you don’t golf by joining us for a fun filled dinner with lots of raffle opportunities!
