2009 – Can you believe it? Let’s hope that we can all lend a hand to make the Auxiliary better than ever this year. If you are looking for ways to help –come on by…there is always something to do at the store which supplies over 80% of the income that the Auxiliary needs for our programs and services to foster families.

Did you know that that FCAOC is a group of foster parents and community members who are interested in helping foster families in their efforts and we are NOT funded with county, state or federal funds? We are YOUR organization and our main support comes from our Thrift Store proceeds and community members and organizations who believe in our cause. Please help spread the word to other community members who want to do their part to help us. Be sure to tell them that we are a registered 501c3 charity so they know that their donation is tax deductable.

Have you renewed your membership? All members who joined before September 21, 2008 (the picnic date) will need to renew to continue receiving goods on distribution days.
Mileage/Babysitting Reimbursement, Foster Parent Liaison & Support Workers are there for you to utilize!

Board Meeting
Board Meeting January 15, 7:00pm-9:00pm Please join us – all members are invited! In addition to our business and planning meeting, Barbara Whorley, a motivational speaker will be doing a presentation that will be beneficial to all parents. There won’t be any training credit given for this presentation, but you are sure to learn something new from this speaker, life coach and author. Barbara believes that “success is an inside job”, and unless we clear the inner clutter and static, we can never truly live into all the greatness we have inside us.
Please come and listen to this two time nominee for LA Business Journal Women Making a Difference Award, and a winner of the Toastmasters Humorous Speech Award.
