Spring Fest News !

Annual Spring Fest
Our annual Spring Fest was held at Garden Grove Elks Park & we partnered with YMCA to put on a great event for foster/adoptive families.

Chili Judges
Darren ‘Scottie’ Scott of Scottie’s Smokehouse BBQ and Bob Malmberg of Chilren & Family Services were our Chili Judges –and awarded 1st place to Nina Yamasaki!

It was a great day for clowning around!
New location, generous contributions for opportunity baskets, partnering with YMCA, nice weather and great chili made for a great day at our Spring Fest! Special thanks to Chili Judges, Bob Malmberg of Children & Family Services, and Darren “Scottie” Scott of Scottie’s Smokehouse BBQ for tasting all the chili and coming up with a winner!

BABY GEAR LOANER PROGRAM

SUPPORT GROUP AND TRAINING

Join us on Monday morning, April 5, from 9am-11am for our support group and training. Two hours of training credit will be given and your member shopping can be done immediately following the meeting. For information or to register call 714 778-3383 or email FosterCareAux@yahoo.com

April 5th: Eating Disorders
April 5 Training will cover Eating Disorders – The participants will gain understanding of the underlying reasons for the behavior, signs, and symptoms of the behavior and what to do to help.
